Meet the Author

Dr. Alisa M. Ross is an educator with over 20 years of experience.

She is a proud (2X) alumna of Southern University and A&M College. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Mater of Arts in Administration and Supervision. Dr. Ross earned her Doctorate of Education from Nova Southeastern University in Educational Leadership.

She is a member of numerous organizations such as Phi Delta Kappa International, Kappa Delta Pi, the National Council for the Social Studies, the Louisiana Council for Social Studies, National Association of University Women, Black Pilots of America, and the Southern University Alumni Federation.

Dr. Ross enjoys traveling, reading, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.
